Golf tournament for suicide awareness

In honor of JJ Volpe and Jay Patterson, two of our own lost far too soon, UFBA hosts an annual suicide awareness golf tournament. Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and their Out of the Darkness Suicide Awareness Program, this tournament has been successful in raising funds year after year. Proceeds also support UFBA scholarships for players in need. UFBA’s mission, along with the efforts of our coaches, staff, and volunteers, is aligned with suicide prevention as we provide a source of community and connection – and encourage a sense of purpose – among players. Reppin' the ROC Cornhole Tournament of Champions

To raise funds for UFBA basketball scholarships, we also host an annual corn hole tournament. This is always a fun way to connect with our community for a fun day and a great cause. We are always looking for sponsors, and appreciate all of the support we have received through the years. New friendships have been forged while funds have been raised for our players. Everybody wins at our tournaments!
