Our Partners

Upstate Franchise Basketball Association and UFBA Ballers are excited to offer an enhanced spring development program through partnerships with 4D Academy and The Community Brotherhood Fellowship Basketball League (CBFBL). With our missions aligned, and proven records of success, these partnerships allow UFBA’s spring season to center on holisitic development, both on and off the court.

4D Academy

4D Academy was established in 2025 when UFBA founder Walter Kemp retired from Upstate Franchise after 20 years. With more than two decades of youth counseling, leadership, and coaching experience, Kemp developed 4D Academy to provide athletes, coaches, and families with comprehensive mental health support, education, and resources to understand and navigate the unique challenges of competitive sports. In addition to these resources, 4D Academy provides high-quality basketball training including skill development and conditioning.

4D will provide mental health and basketball training for our spring programs, including mental health and wellness training for our coaches.

Community Brotherhood Fellowship Youth Development Program

Founded in 1999 by Pastor Stephen McKnight and other community leaders, the Community Brotherhood Fellowship Youth Development Program provides a safe and inclusive space for all people—religious and non-religious alike.

In this space is where our youth and families will come to enhance their mind, body, and spirit, using sports as a vehicle to help individuals develop a stronger sense of purpose and community.

We are proud to partner with CBFBL to offer a community closet open to both donations and resources for families in need.

Our Commitment

UFBA is dedicated to creating leaders on and off the court, helping youth reach their highest potential through our Four Pillars of Development:
